Today I'm posting a little devlog to introduce the essence of the Ash Boat Project. 

As you can see, all the original assets of Ash Boat are published under a relatively lenient CC license. This means we have given up part of the copyright. We expect nothing in return, only to provide assets for those who dreamt of making a visual novel but couldn't afford artists or musicians. This happens, as background music is often neglected, and most indie studios are on a tight budget. 

And that is exactly what we are trying to do with Ash Boat Project. We aim to provide an asset pack that is free to use and possible to derive from. We encourage sharing your own stories with Ash Boat Asset Pack (or just part of it). Please let us know if you are making things with our asset pack.
